There are 40 new synth items added to the pool. Rarity is low to average for the new items. If these items pollute the pool too much, and decrease other items, the synth drop rates might be revisited.
These 40 items can create 2 unique items, and are separate from the current synth system.

All non custom items should now have an icon of some sort. If you find an item missing an icon please pm the name of the item to me (this does not include custom items).

Some of you may have noticed that certain icons have gotten a new look. We are currently updating some old icons with new looks, so if you see an item in your inventory that you do not recognize, check the name as it may just be a new icon. Many of the old icons have already been replaced, and more will likely be replaced in the near future. Depending on your computer you may not see these new icons immediately and it could take a few days before you computer refreshes the icon properly so you can see them. You can also do a force refresh (ctrl+f5) once to force your computer to load the new icons.

Removed the ability for guests to disable hints. Re-enabled hints for guests.

Altered the login page so it will now warn you if your cookies are disabled, and the potential problems it will cause when trying to log in. This will only be displayed on the log-in page.

The user Rei Isabella (Meg) has been promoted to the HC.

Riding equipment has been added to Trinsic Stables.

Glasses have been added to This n That.

Both items have a 2 week exclusion period, but if you wish to use these in RPs after that, please ensure you buy the item.

The synthesizing shop has been recoded, so it now appears like regular shops.

As several other changes along with this primary display issue, things are a bit different with synthesizing now.
-First, all items were reset to a 0 visibility flag. Then, every item that 5 or more people own, which aren't admin are now visible.
-Every time an item is discovered and 5 or more people make it, an item will become visible to everyone.
-Synth shop items can now be added to wish lists.
-Several synth item recipes may have been altered slightly due to the code handling synth recipes being updated.
-Synth item recipes can now use a ># method to control the amount of a specific item, rather than typing out 16 Bolt of Cloth, recipes can now use Bolt of Cloth>16, if there is no ># on an item 1 is assumed. This is a note particularly for admin.
-A couple of synth recipes have been purposely altered to be easier to make, as I think they were too hard to make for their worth.


Synth scrolls.
Synth scrolls have now been updated and changed due to the new method of revealing items made 5 times in the synth shop to everyone. As such, the synth scrolls will now reveal a new recipe approximately 20% of the time. The other 80% of the time will be any random recipe from the entire lot.

If you find any bugs in this new system, report them immediately. Exploiting of scripts may lead to bans.

I've adjusted the drop rate on items, so it's easier to obtain a 2nd item.
I've also made it so you can now receive up to 3 items when you post now. The third item will continue to be hard to obtain, obviously.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, Ned (Meijha) has been forced to step down from the IC. While he will be missed, he has vowed to return. So keep nagging him. ;)

The Deceit position will be opened for application in November following the new application schedule.

Sadly, after many years of doing a wonderful job as a moderator of DaeLuin, the user Josianne Rae (Becca) has stepped down from her position.

Unfortunately, Neveah has been forced to step down from her position as Goddess of Love.

Applications for the Love position will be opened in March.

The user Luthene has been removed from the HC





Jenna (the user formerly known as Luthene) will now be using her Euryale account as her moderator account. This is not a new moderator just an already existing one switching accounts.

With the constant evolution of the internet, I believe it is now sufficient to allow people to have upto 5mbs of pictures, songs, and the like in their profile. Please keep in mind other people when overloading your profile with useless stuff though. If you can put a smaller version of a song in there, obviously do that. Please note, I've only had to enforce this a couple of times, but I thought I should make it official that upto 5mb of content is fine.

Featured member has been changed to Jaci, for her continuing and relentless efforts in the wishing well.

Portal poll has been updated.

Just to keep everyone updated, GGA applications for March will be delayed in light of recent site-wide plot developments. The applications will likely be held towards the end of March/beginning of April.

Manual pages have been removed from the drop table.

The algorithm used to determine item drops has been adjusted... Will see how the new algorithm works.

Maximum drop items has been reduced back to 2.
