The wind always foretells the greatest cataclysms.

Before armies march or earthquakes rumble, the clouds gather, like sentinels warning of disaster. But what if it is a storm itself that frenzies the wind? What then is cause and what effect?

Philosophers and sky watchers may debate, but it is irrefutable that a storm is on the rise. Far off, in the western skies, a clash of thunder rings about the mountains. Something in Sein Amar has gone amiss.

The clouds are gathering, darkness is rising. All across the continent, colossal thunderstorms are raging. Sailors and sky captains have reported trouble with immense thunder caps that embroil the sea and sky. Travel by boat or airship has become difficult. Only the most skilled travelers will fare well through such tumultuous weather.

At the same time, deep rumblings have spread through the earth in the southwest peninsula of Sein Amar. Cracks run deep through the land, splitting river beds and causing catastrophe for towns and villages unfortunate enough to lie in the way of the fault lines. The earthquakes have not been severe, but they have been chronic; it seems that a quiet rumble lurks beneath the soil at every moment. Herders have fled with their flocks. Traders have ceased traveling their routes, fearing the great fissures that may have opened in their paths.

Scholars, adventurers, and Deities alike have taken up the task of investigating these strange phenomenon. All evidence points west, towards the one place where the greatest storm forever rages: The Storm Planes.

Dodging lightning beneath a black sky and the open maw of the earth, the bravest explorers seek some cause for this rapidly spreading darkness.

The rest of Daeluin retreats to their homes or inns, waiting for the storm to pass. Nervous, some wait and watch the skies. Others fear the ground.

The wind howls on, and thunder rages: a storm of heavens and earth.

A huge storm has erupted over much of Daeluin. Simultaneously, terrible earthquakes have begun throughout Sein Amar, with their epicenteres seemingly located somewhere near the Storm Planes. The origins of these catastrophes are unknown thus far, but the leaders of Daeluin are calling for any explorers with information to come forth and present their findings. The Mages at Willowmoore Academy caution all explorers, however. The storms seem to be somehow magical in nature, and already many adventurers have been struck dead by lightning or swallowed by the earth in the field. Travelers and investigators are advised to use great caution.
