The passion that ignited between them burned bright and with the power behind it of the years they had held back. Kiba knew that what he had been feeling was what was true. No matter if it had been wrong or not, the diowolf was true to his inner self. Rei was the one that he wanted…no needed. She was the one that had to be his mate. Heavens didn’t care that there were other males that were vying for her attention; he had won her in the end. Down deep he did keep a barrier up of defense in ready for those that may attempt to step back onto his territory. That would most likely be the god of darkness. Though Dimitre was older than Kiba, the younger deity would not give up without a fight.

Now was their time. Clothes were discarded in different directions, neither caring where they had gone. The male stared down into her eyes deeply with arms wrapped tightly around her form. The feeling of being one with her was something that he would never forget.

Laying above her, he opened his eyes to take in her beautiful pale face. Lightly he brushed away some of the sweat that had accumulated on her forehead. Without even thinking he then kissed her eyelids gently, wanting to savor each moment with her. Rei had given him something he would treasure for the rest of eternity. Eyes closed as she began to kiss him along his jaw again. It was a very typical wolf thing to kiss the muzzle, and that was a giant reason why he loved her; she was wolf through and through. She brought out that part of him that had been sleeping dormant and alone. Raisa had not had the ability to pull that out of him. He felt that possibly it was because she had not had her wolf identity for long.

Without warning Kiba found himself below the woman. Kissing resumed between them slow and fiery. Carefully he gathered some of her long hair in his hand to cup her cheek. “I love you. Always and forever you will be my mate.” A mischievous grin came across his lips. “Even if you don’t want to be. You are mine now little miss.” He pulled her head down in order to capture her lips against his. His free hand reached up to caress her side, holding her tightly to his body. There was something so right about them being together that he couldn’t explain it.

Rei felt the light and loving pressure of his lips against her eyelids. It seemed that Kiba wanted to kiss, touch, and caress every part of her- not that she would object to such a notion. The God seemed to enjoy the traces of her lips across the prominent line of his jaw. She had known it was in wolf nature to pay particular attention to this area, though it had never been something she needed to actively think about. By now, Shadryn’s lycan blood was integrated into her as if she had possessed the gift since birth. Inwardly she felt her wolf rubbing affectionately against his and tugging at her to continue to sate their needs.

The Avatar smiled down at him as his hand reached up to cradle the softness of her cheek. It was something he often did- cradling her as if she was a precious gem. He proclaimed her his mate and couldn’t help but feel the emotions swell inside of her. It could have brought tears to her eyes if she had allowed it. But his teasing comment prevented her from becoming too emotional, instead allowing her to scrunch her nose at him playfully.

Their lips met once more in an electric kiss- as theirs seemed to always hold such a spark- and she lost herself in it. Rei could let herself drown in his essence and be completely at peace. Kiba had taken such great care and time in pleasing her. Now she felt the need and desire to do the same for him. Her hands rested on his shoulders while her lips dotted randomly about his bare chest. She could taste the bittersweet tinge of his sweat on her lips but found it appealing. Moving back up, she kissed him, her lips delving deeply against his. “And forever we will be mates,” she whispered before indulging him in the pleasures he deserved.

The deity wanted to spend all his time in that space with her. He wished to hold her close to his chest and never let go. A small voice in the back of his mind told him that it would be an impossibility for both had responsibilities that neither could neglect. Like an annoying gnat the Lord of Stars mentally swatted away the thoughts. He was in the moment with Rei; she was the one that completed him more than he had ever known.

Arms came to wrap possessively about her slim figure to him. There were others that had had the chance to treasure her the way he was allowed to now. It astounded him that each were so dimwitted to mess up the one good thing they could have had. Kiba was not going to make the same mistake. He would treasure her, for no other could be as special as her.

“And forever we will be mates,” he repeated after her. A smile was upon his lips. It was her turn to play dominant. The pair was finally were they belonged: together.
